Snack Ideas

Pleasantview is a healthy school and we follow the Healthy School Guidelines. Please do not send non nutritious treats such as cupcakes, cookies, or donuts for birthdays at school.  These items will be sent home. Here are a few ideas of some healthy alternatives.
  • fresh veggies such as carrots, celery, broccoli, or a veggie tray
  • fresh fruit such as strawberries, bananas, apples, watermelon, or blueberries
  • yogurt or Go-Gurt
  • dry cereal
  • granola bars
  • fruit snacks
If there is a special celebration planned, the teacher will let you know if she would like you to bring something for a treat. Thank you for helping us keep our students healthy!
